Working in collections is not for the faint-hearted. Every day, we deal with conversations filled with emotion – people who are embarrassed, stressed, or even angry. Because debt brings pressure. And pressure often brings silence – people avoid, delay, withdraw.


But here is the truth: non-payment has consequences. Service providers cannot continue to deliver without financial upkeep. Security, maintenance, water, electricity – all of it costs money. When people do not pay their part, it affects everyone. And that is where collections become essential.


The hard part? We hear real stories – job loss, illness, families going through hard times. We wish we could always say, “It is okay,” but our role is to find the balance – between compassion and responsibility.
